The policy cove legal liability of carriers for loss or damage to cargo caused by fire, explosion, or accident to the carrying vehicle on account of negligence of the insured and or negligent or criminal act of his servants subject to the vehicle being damaged at the same time and claim thereof being admitted under the Motor Insurance Policy.

The Vehicle should have Motor Package Policy Cover throughout the currency of the policy
Duly filled Proposal form
Any other information required by the company

Covered
The policy covers loss or damage to cargo directly caused by fire, explosion, or accident to the carrying vehicle on account of negligence of the insured and or negligent or criminal act of his servants subject to the vehicle being damaged at the same time and claim thereof being admitted under the Motor Policy.

Exclusions
Liability arising under any contract or agreement barring Carriers Act 1865
Damage to property belonging to insured, or any servant, agent or sub-contractor
Inherent defect or vice, vermin, wear and tear, deterioration, spontaneous combustion or decay of perishable goods
Depreciation, delay, loss of market
Consequential loss due to damage to goods
Goods and/or merchandise which may be illicit or illegal
Terrorism
