Major Exclusion


Our group health insurance doesn't provide coverage for certain cases such as:
Pre-existing illnesses and diseases during the first 4 years of policy coverage.
Treatment of illnesses such as Ulcers, Tonsillectomy, Hernia, Cataract, Sinusitis, Gall Bladder Stones, Chronic Renal Failure during the first year of operation of the policy.
Treatment taken outside India
Outpatient treatment
Stay in a hospital without undertaking any active regular treatment by the medical practitioner
Experimental and unproven treatment.
Treatment-related to pregnancy or childbirth.

Day Care Treatments

less than 24 hours hospitalisation

Coverage for select Day Care Surgery with less than 24 hours hospitalisation for specified procedures.

Post-Hospitalization

60 days after the date of discharge

60 days after the date of discharge from the hospital or in case of domiciliary hospitalisation.

Pre-Hospitalization

30 days prior to date of admission

30 days prior to date of admission into the hospital or in case of domiciliary hospitalisation .

Ambulance Charge

1% of SI up to a max. of Rs. 1500

Ambulance charges – 1% of SI up to a max. of Rs.1500.

Hospital Room Eligibility

1%/day for normal room

Room boarding & Nursing charges (1%/day for normal room).

Co-Payment

10% on all eligible admissible claims

Co-Payment on claims in non-network hospitals - 10% on all eligible admissible claims

Domiciliary Hospitalization

20% of the Sum Insured or Rs.20000

Domiciliary Hospitalisation, subject to a maximum of 20% of the Sum Insured or Rs. 20000, whichever is less.
