Policy's Coverage

What is covered

Accidental damage to the vehicle due to:

1.Fire, lightning, self-ignition, external explosion, burglary, housebreaking or theft, malicious act.
2.Riot and strike; terrorism; earthquake; flood, cyclone and inundation
3.Whilst in transit by rail, road, air, elevator, lift.

Liability cover for:

1.Third party injury or death
2.Third party property damage caused to their property

You can extend your commercial vehicle insurance to cover:

1.Loss or damage to electrical accessories
2.Loss or damage to Non-electrical accessories
3.Personal Accident cover for insured or any named person or unnamed passengers
4.Legal liability to persons employees (paid drivers/cleaners)
5.Legal Liability to employees of the insured (other than paid drivers/cleaners)
6.Legal liability to fare and non fare paying passengers

What is not covered

1.Wear and tear, breakdowns.
2.Consequential loss
3.Loss when driving with invalid driving license or under the influence of alcohol.
4.Loss due to war, civil war, etc.
5.Claims arising out of contractual liability.
6.Use of vehicle otherwise than in accordance with 'limitations as to use' (e.g. private car being used as a taxi)
7.War perils, nuclear perils
8.Mechanical and electrical breakdown; failure or breakage.
