Cumulative Bonus: Even if you don't make any claim during the year, you have nothing to lose! For every claim free year, get rewarded with a 5% bonus in your sum insured!
Room Rent: When you get hospitalized, there are different hospital rooms you can choose from. With this policy, you can choose any room you like as long as it is up to Rs 5,000/day.
ICU/ICCU: Expenses incurred on ICU and ICCU facilities for up to 5% of the total sum insured or Rs.10,000 per day is covered.
Ambulance Services: Ambulance charges with a maximum cap of Rs.2,000 per hospitalization are included in the policy.
Plastic Surgery and Dental Treatments: Plastic surgery or dental treatments necessitated owing to an injury, or a disease are covered.
Cataract Surgery: Expenses incurred towards cataract surgeries are covered. You can avail coverage of up to Rs.40,000 or 25% of the total sum insured, whichever is lower.
New Age Treatments: Modern treatments, including balloon Sinuplasty, Immunotherapy and Stem Cell Therapy, amongst many other treatments (list given below) can be covered to up to 50% of your sum insured.

What's not covered?
Any hospitalization or pre-hospitalization expenses not related to the medical claim made will not be covered.
Obesity or weight control related treatment not claimed due to any co morbidities will not be covered.
Change of gender treatments are not covered under this policy.
Cosmetic and plastic surgeries are not covered.
Treatments due to substance abuse is not covered in the Arogya policy.
Treatments without a doctor's recommendation or not necessitated medically will not be covered.
Sterility and fertility treatments are not covered.
Maternity related expenses are not part of this policy.
The Arogya Sanjeevani Policy does not cover domiciliary care of OPD expenses.



Standard Benefits of the Arogya Sanjeevani Health Insurance Policy
Lifelong Renewability: While the entry level for the purchase of this policy is limited to those between the ages 18 to 65 years, this policy comes with lifelong renewability, as long as you renew it on time.
