Critical illness cover:
This specially designed policy for women provides cover from 8 critical conditions.
Congenital disability benefit:
50% of the sum insured would be payable if you give birth to a baby having a congenital disease/disorder. This benefit will be available for the first two children only.

Loss of job cover:
If you lose your job within a period of 3 months of the date of diagnosis of any of the critical illness as covered in your policy, we will pay an amount of Rs 25,000 towards loss of employment, if the claim for critical illness benefit is paid under your policy.
Children education benefit:
If the claim for critical illness benefit is paid under your policy, we will also pay Rs 25,000 towards the future education of up to 2 children. The amount payable under this section would be restricted to Rs 25,000 for one or more child, put together.

*On opting for Women-Specific Critical Illness Insurance policy, you can avail Rs 25,000 per annum as a deduction against your taxes (provided you are not over 60 years). If you pay a premium for your parents who are senior citizens (age 60 or above), the maximum health insurance benefit for tax purposes is capped at Rs 50,000. As a taxpayer, you may, therefore, maximize tax benefit under Section 80D up to a total of Rs 75,000, if you are below 60 years of age and your parents are senior citizens. If you are above the age of 60 years and are paying a medical insurance premium for your parents, the maximum tax benefit under Section 80D is, then, Rs 1 lakh.

06.Congenital diseases
This benefit will not be available if the birth of the child occurs after you reach the age of 40 years.
07.Burns
Radiation-induced burns.
08.Multi-trauma
A single fracture.
Injuries involving fractures of small bones of hand, feet, ribs; even if multiple.
Any type of fracture such as open or closed, displaced or not displaced, simple or compound types.
09.Other exclusions
Any critical illness for which care, treatment, or advice was recommended by or received.
